PT Sumbawa Timur Mining (STM) adalah perusahaan patungan antara Eastern Star Resources Pty Ltd (80%), anak perusahaan Vale SA yang 100% sahamnya dimiliki, dan PT Antam Tbk (20%).

Pemilik Penugasan Kontrak Karya (KK) Generasi ke-7 Proyek Hu’u dan Survei Pendahuluan & Eksplorasi Panas Bumi di Kecamatan Hu’u, Kabupaten Dompu, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia.

1. Occupational Health and Safety Engineer (Geothermal)

Purpose of the Role :

Provides direct support to activities relating to the identification of common safety and health hazards inherent in the organisation’s site operations and the establishment of guidelines for protection from those hazards. 

Accountabilities :

  • Conducts inspections and tests planned to provide familiarity with company operations, specific safety and health issues, regulations and company practices. 
  • Collects and analyses data related to workplace incidents. 
  • dentifies problem areas and suggests solutions. 
  • Assists more experienced officers in developing OH&S solutions. 
  • Provide input into the development of relevant OH&S procedures. 
  • Assist in accident investigations and documenting incidents. monitoring, inspection and improvement for Hu’u Project Site.

Requirements :

  • Minimum Bachelor (or equivalent) min GPA 3,00 in related position;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a role, preferable within Geothermal exploration project;
  • Good English skills (verbal & written) essential;
  • Strong knowledge & skill related to risk assessment method such as HIRA, JSA, MoC;
  • Familiar to facilitate incident investigation by using recognized investigation methodology;
  • Strong knowledge & skill related to Safety Management System Audit, preferable has SMKP auditor certificate;
  • Preferable possess valid AK3 Umum, ToT (Train of Trainer) & POP (Pengawas Operasioanl Pratama) certificates

2. Foreman Heavy Equiptment

Purpose of the Role:

  • Conduct field inspection on earth work activity involving heavy equipment
  • Monitoring contractor work and provide feed back for improvement
  • Make sure effective and efficient work of the heavy equipment

Accountabilities :

  • Responsible to do routine inspection construction (road, disposal, pond, etc).
  • Coordinate and work with the project management team and contractor to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
  • Capable to implement save behavior to all activity involving heavy equipment.
  • Conduct regular monitoring of work progress, inspection and improvement for Hu’u Project Site.

Requirements :

  • Technically strong in geotechnical (field work).
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with each function and the contractor supervisor.
  • Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems.
  • Minimum High School or diploma at any major.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant/similar capacity as heavy equipment foreman/supervisor in mining project, leading a small team for heavy equipment operation.

3. Sr. Procurement Analyst (Site Base)

Accountabilities :

  • Perform daily contracting activities with regards to purchasing & service of materials and/ equipment requested by Users ensuring that they are processed under company’s standard, procedures, and regulations.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of incoming PR, adequacy of scope of work and any other exhibits, develops and reviews RFQ, and supervises procurement process in accordance with Procurement Procedures.
  • Conduct pre-qualification before preparing Request for Quotation (RFQ) or tender document.
  • Studying market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials and visiting trade shows, factories.
  • Conduct analysis on Contract and PO terms (technical, commercial and legal terms).
  • Provide recommendation on how the best/economic/efficient way to award the tender and comply with Vale norm.

Requirements :

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant study with 3.0 GPA from a possible 4.0 total GPA.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience – preferably in mining exploration project or oil & gas industry.
  • Good English proficiency (verbal & written) is essential.
  • A strong knowledge & skills in civil construction (FIDIC contract), site camp support, price agreement, material management and local content requirements.
  • A strong knowledge & skills in procurement process especially on sourcing & Contract/PO administration; negotiation with local supplier and problem solving.
  • Familiar and able to work with local supplier/community in remote area; and
  • Good skills in operating Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point & SAP.

4. Senior Operational Analyst (Geothermal)


  • Evaluating operational effectivities and efficiency based on project execution and monitor the assigned site operational support for each Geothermal Drilling Project.
  • Ensure the job site remain safe, clean, and orderly with strong commitment to deliver the project by resolving on-site issue and emergencies.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
  • Assign responsibilities (work load analysis), supervise staff and mentor project team including the team roster.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to help and providing analytical support on financial and operational issues.
  • Review site engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.


  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mining Engineering with Geothermal Project environment.
  • Minimum 7 years relevant/similar capacity as Operation Analyst in mining civil project, leading a small to huge team for construction project in Geothermal Drilling Project.
  • Provide planning and controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, fast adapt with remote site exposure.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately. 
  • Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with each function and other department heads.
  • Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems.

5. Civil Engineer Experienced (Geothermal)

Accountabilities :

  • Prepare reports, designs, and technical drawings (2D & 3D-Computer Aided Design Tech)
  • Make calculations about pressures, loads, and stresses.
  • Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately.
  • Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
  • Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval.
  • Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.
  • Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers.
  • Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness.
  • Administer contracts and manage projects.
  • Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations.

Requirements :

  • Have good communication skills and can work together with the team.
  • Can work under pressure and dare to accept new challenges.
  • Bachelor’s in civil or structural engineering (essential), Master is a Plus; Professionally registered with the Institute of structural engineers with strong exposure in Geothermal Civil Facility project environment.
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience as a structural engineer (essential), great understanding of physics and mathematics, and Three-dimensional conceptual skills.
  • Expert experience in project management with advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Technically strong in civil structural engineering (field work) with good communication skills written and verbal.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely-accurately with data visualization mindset and SCRUM paradigm for any fast-pace project.

6. Communication Assistant

Accountabilities :

  • Attend coordination meetings, with or without being accompanied by Corporate Communication Specialist.
  • Develop minutes of meeting, upon approval of immediate supervisor, distribute to all meeting participants.
  • Create and maintain documentation archive for news stories, press release, photo library, and other corporate communications materials.
  • Coordinate’s production and distribution of materials with external services.
  • Assist in financial administration duties.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
  • Writes and distributes basic media info materials including media advisory, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletter, and brochure.
  • Proactively develop relationships and build extensive network with external audiences (local and provincial media, Key Opinion Leaders, etc.) to convey Company’s message.
  • Implement events with media, organizing site visit for Company’s stakeholders.

Requirements :

  • University qualifications in Communications/Internal Relations/English Literature or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a mining company in a communication department.
  • Possess strong computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.
  • Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
  • In addition to Bahasa Indonesia, possess a good level of proficiency in spoken and written English.

7. Experienced Land Acquisition Analyst

Accountabilities :

  • Managing daily operational Land Management activities, including communication and coordinating Land Management Team, and coordinating and providing reports to Land Management Leader.
  • Assisting the Land Management Leader in ensuring that the Land Management Department work program run according to the goals and plans of PT STM, as well as overseeing, motivating and ensuring all staff under the Land Acquisition Coordinator to complete their work tasks effectively.
  • Assisting the Land Management Leader to ensure that coordination with Land Management Department contractors and consultants runs well.
  • Specific jobs of the Land Acquisition Coordinator include supporting Land Management Leader in the implementation of land acquisition program; land tenure system mapping; assess land and asset valuation – Marker Research database, Land Management System database, monitor social issues related to land and company activities; and build relationships with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements :

  • University qualifications in social study or related discipline is preferable.  
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in land acquisition, community and stakeholder’s engagement.
  • Possess strong computer skills and familiarity with standard office software. 
  • Possess experience in the use of GIS program software and land survey. 
  • Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills. 
  • In addition to Bahasa Indonesia, possess a good level of proficiency in spoken and written English.
